Chinese Name: Qiang Huo
Qiang Huo, also known as Notopterygium root, is a type of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) that is commonly used to boost upper respiratory health.
In TCM theory, Qiang Huo prevents the early stages of upper respiratory diseases by increasing the flow of sweat to capillary pores, which then expel external diseases and prevent them from spreading to other parts of the body.
Qiang Huo is especially suitable for cold weathers or when you experience a sudden drop in temperature, resulting in symptoms such as aversion to cold, chills, fever, absence of sweat, headache, painful and stiff nape, body ache, and pain in the joints and limbs. Qiang Huo also promote detoxification through urinary or bowel movements, as well as helping to unblock painful obstruction and alleviate pain.
