In TCM theory, Nu Zhen Zi is a bitter and sweet herb that helps to clear up heatiness, dampness and promote detoxification via urination or bowel movements.
Nu Zhen Zi also nourish the liver and kidneys, helping to address "yin" deficiency symptoms such as acne,
early whitening of hair, spermatorrhea (loss of semen), infertility, frequent urination, dizziness, tinnitus, tidal fever, poor eyesight, soreness and limpness of lumbar and knees, low immunity, diabetes and restlessness.
