Vitamin B-6 (Pyridoxine) is a water-soluble vitamin that is responsible for wide variety of bodily functions, including blood cells formation, optimal brain function and healthy nervous system.
As our bodies cannot store Vitamin B-6, it has to be obtained from our diet on a daily basis. Common food sources include organ meats, chicken, eggs, fish, carrots and beans. Symptoms of a Vitamin B-6 deficiency include anemia, low energy level, headaches, sore tongue, and skin rashes.
